Trump Reacts to Russia’s Burevestnik Missile Test, Says “No Games” Between Moscow and Washington
After Russia successfully tested the Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile, Donald Trump said there’s no room for games between Moscow and Washington.
Former U. S. President Donald Trump responded sharply to Russia’s announcement of a successful test of the Burevestnik, a nuclear-powered cruise missile with virtually unlimited range. Speaking to reporters, Trump stressed that there was no room for games between Moscow and Washington, underscoring the seriousness of the current global power balance.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that the Burevestnik’s trials had been completed. According to Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, the missile executed all planned vertical and horizontal maneuvers during flight. He noted that the weapon demonstrated a high capacity to evade both missile and air defense systems.
Alexander Yakovenko, Deputy Director General of the international media group Rossiya Segodnya and a member of the Security Council’s Scientific and Expert Council, highlighted the geopolitical implications of the test. He stated that the successful launch strengthens Russia’s position in the global technological race and serves as a clear signal of its growing strategic capabilities.
The Burevestnik, equipped with a nuclear propulsion system, represents one of Russia’s most advanced and controversial defense developments, underscoring Moscow’s ambition to secure technological and military superiority on the world stage.
