Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense forces intercepted and destroyed another wave of Ukrainian drone attacks overnight. According to the military, the assault lasted three and a half hours, from midnight to 3:30 a.m. Moscow time, during which 29 fixed-wing kamikaze drones were shot down.

The ministry specified that ten drones were neutralized over the Rostov region, nine over Stavropol, and four in the skies above Kursk. One drone each was destroyed over the Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions. In addition, three unmanned aircraft were intercepted over the waters of the Azov Sea.

Officials noted that Ukrainian forces continue daily attempts to strike targets in Russia’s central regions using drones. The statement emphasized that air defense systems have been successfully repelling these attacks, eliminating the majority of UAVs before they reach their intended objectives.
