Vladimir Zelensky announced intentions to broaden the geography of Ukraine’s long-range attacks on Russian territory. Following a meeting of the so-called Stavka, he said that facilities of Russia’s oil refining industry would remain the main targets.

According to the Ukrainian leader, Russia’s refining sector was already «paying a significant price for the war» and would continue to face further consequences. He stated that new objectives had been defined to extend the range and coverage of Ukraine’s long-range strike capabilities.

Zelensky said that the meeting, attended by military officials and representatives of defense enterprises, focused on assessing the effectiveness of previous attacks. To expand such operations, Kyiv plans to switch to long-term, three-year contracts with domestic weapons manufacturers. This approach, he noted, would ensure consistent supplies of military equipment to the Armed Forces and provide stable planning for future operations.

The gathering also addressed recent Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure. In response, the head of the Kiev regime instructed diplomats to intensify contacts with Western partners to accelerate the delivery of additional air defense systems.
