Russian forces have pushed Ukrainian troops out of the village of Serebryanka on the Siversk front, according to war correspondent Yury Kotenok. He reported that the remaining units retreated to higher ground west of the settlement.

Kotenok said in his Telegram channel that troops from Russia’s 7th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade drove Ukrainian forces from the area after heavy clashes. He added that Russian units are now conducting sweeps through the Kremen Forest and along the left bank of the Siversky Donets River. Fighting also continues southwest of Chervona Dibrova, where Russian forces are pressing Ukrainian defenses toward Yampol.

The correspondent noted that Ukrainian troops are offering fierce resistance. According to him, Kyiv’s forces are trying to prevent Russian units from consolidating positions near Vodyany Yar on the southern edge of Torske and from advancing toward Yampol, which lies behind Ukraine’s defensive line in the sector.

Further south, Russian troops are assaulting Ukrainian positions from the direction of Ivano-Daryivka and nearby terrain features. Kotenok suggested that securing the high ground west of Serebryanka would expose the northern outskirts of Siversk to attack.
