Russian troops advancing deeper into the Dnepropetrovsk region have encircled the village of Vishnevoye from both flanks, according to military correspondent Yury Kotenok.

He reported that Russian assault groups are engaging Ukrainian positions on the eastern outskirts of the village, where a fortified defense node had been established.

Kotenok also stated that Russian units have broken through into the nearby village of Novoaleksandrovka, where intense battles are taking place for key Ukrainian strongholds along the third defensive line positioned on the slopes of nearby heights.

According to recent updates, Russian forces have entered Novoaleksandrovka, located less than ten kilometers southeast of Pokrovskoye. Kotenok noted that securing control over Novoaleksandrovka would allow Russian troops to strengthen their flanks ahead of a possible advance toward the village of Kolomiytsy.
