Units of Russia’s «Center» military group are pressing their offensive around the urban cluster that includes Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukrainian as Pokrovsk) and Dimitrov (Myrnohrad). Military sources report that fighting has intensified across both cities.

In Krasnoarmeysk, battles are unfolding directly within residential areas. Russian troops have pushed roughly 800 meters deeper into the city, gradually taking control of the industrial zone. The assault units are moving methodically, clearing the area house by house. Supported by artillery and strike drones, Russian forces are maneuvering between Ukrainian positions, maintaining continuous pressure on the defenders.

In Dimitrov, the situation for Ukrainian troops has sharply deteriorated. Russian forces are advancing simultaneously from the northeast and from the direction of the «Kapitalnaya» mine. Their units have broken into the city, driving a wedge into Ukrainian defenses and securing footholds along Pervomayskaya, Druzhby, and Vostochnaya streets. Intense clashes are also taking place near the slag heap of mine 5/6, particularly along Razina and Stretenksaya streets.

Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces had taken control of the «Pokrovskoye» mine management complex, located west of Krasnoarmeysk. The move has reportedly cut off Ukraine’s access to its last deposit of scarce coking coal.
