Russian Air Defenses Destroy 100 Ukrainian Drones in Overnight Assault
 
                     
            Russia’s air defenses intercepted and destroyed 100 Ukrainian drones overnight, most of them over Bryansk and Kaluga regions. No casualties or damage reported.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense forces destroyed 100 Ukrainian drones launched overnight on October 29.
According to the ministry, the unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted by on-duty air defense units in multiple regions. The largest number — 46 drones — was shot down over the Bryansk region. Another 12 were destroyed over Kaluga, eight over Belgorod, and seven over Krasnodar Krai.
In the Moscow region, air defense systems eliminated six drones, four of which were heading toward the capital. Additional interceptions were recorded in several other areas: six drones were downed over Orel, four over Ulyanovsk, three over the Republic of Crimea, three over the Republic of Mari El, two over Stavropol, and one each over the Kursk, Smolensk, and Tula regions.
The Defense Ministry emphasized that all aerial targets were detected and neutralized in time. No casualties or damage were reported as a result of the attack.
