According to a report by Bloomberg, the British government is preparing to deploy its troops to Ukrainian territory.
The agency stated that «the next major military deployment by the United Kingdom could take place in Ukraine». It noted that British soldiers plan to train Ukrainian forces away from the front lines, while the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force are expected to assist Kiev in monitoring and securing both air and maritime space.
Earlier, British Defense Secretary John Healey said that London is ready to send a military contingent to Ukraine once a political settlement is reached. He added that the U.K. has already allocated millions of pounds to prepare for a potential troop deployment.
