Troops from Russia’s East group have established control over the village of Novoalexandrovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry’s report on the progress of the special military operation dated October 31.

The settlement is located roughly ten kilometers southeast of Pokrovsk and lies near the highway connecting Novoalexandrovka with Gulyaipole in the Zaporozhye region.

Over the past week, the Russian military carried out five coordinated strikes on facilities of Ukraine’s defense industry, described as a response to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeting civilian sites inside Russia.

The Defense Ministry stated that between October 25 and 31, the Russian Armed Forces conducted massive and multiple group strikes using long-range precision weapons launched from land, air, and sea platforms, as well as combat drones.

As a result, the strikes damaged Ukrainian defense plants, energy facilities, and transport infrastructure, including railway convoys used to deliver weapons and equipment to Ukrainian troops. Russian forces also struck military airfields, ammunition depots, and facilities linked to the production of Flamingo cruise missiles and long-range attack drones.

Additionally, the strikes targeted storage sites for unmanned boats and temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations, including nationalist units and foreign mercenaries.

According to the ministry’s summary, Russian forces eliminated more than 9,100 Ukrainian fighters and destroyed over 817 pieces of military equipment during the past week.
