Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi says Russian troops have changed their approach on the front lines, adopting a new strategy he described as «total infiltration.»

In a statement posted on his official Telegram channel, Syrskyi noted increased Russian pressure along three axes: the Krasnoarmiisk (Pokrovsk), Novopavlivka, and Dobropillia directions. According to him, Russian forces are now favoring small sabotage and reconnaissance groups to push through Ukrainian defenses-including operations deep behind front-line positions.

He claimed that these Russian units are attempting to break through toward the city of Pokrovsk, using small infantry detachments and infiltration tactics. However, he emphasized that Russian troops have not yet managed to establish a firm foothold in the area.

Syrskyi previously reported that similar intensified Russian offensive actions were underway in the Zaporizhzhia sector as well.
