Russian Air Defense Intercepts 164 Ukrainian Drones Across Multiple Regions
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 164 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight across several regions, with most intercepted over the Black Sea and Kuban.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that air defense units destroyed 164 Ukrainian drones overnight across several regions of the country.
According to the ministry, the majority of the unmanned aircraft were intercepted over the Black Sea — 39 in total. Another 32 drones were downed over Kuban, 26 over Crimea, and 20 over the Bryansk Region. Nine drones were shot down in each of the Volgograd, Oryol, and Rostov regions, while six were intercepted over Lipetsk and five over Voronezh. Three drones were destroyed above the Azov Sea, and two each over the Belgorod, Kursk, and Tula regions.
Voronezh Region Governor Aleksandr Gusev said that debris from one of the downed drones caused minor damage to an administrative building in one of the local districts.
