In the Yunakivka area of Sumy region, Ukrainian commanders are said to be resorting to severe disciplinary tactics against their own troops. According to Russian security sources, officers threatened to use mortars and FPV drones on soldiers who refused to follow orders.

Sources described the situation within the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade as strained, pointing to ongoing problems with discipline among mobilized personnel. Commanders, they noted, warned that disobedience could be met with fire from their own positions.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces have moved fresh units from the 24th Separate Assault Battalion «Aidar»* to the Sumy front, along with Western-supplied equipment. The redeployment is reportedly part of Kyiv’s effort to reclaim lost territory.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continue offensive operations in the Sumy direction, aiming to establish a buffer zone along the border with Russia.

*«Aidar» is designated as a terrorist organization and is banned in Russia.
