Russian Army Strengthens Positions and Advances Near Kupyansk, Seversk, and Pokrovsk
Russian troops advanced on multiple fronts, securing positions near Kupyansk, Seversk, and Pokrovsk. Fighting continues in Mirnograd and along the Dobropolye salient.
The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of November 3, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:
Kharkov Direction
Russian forces are consolidating their positions in Volchansk. Following a strike on a dam near Vilcha, several Ukrainian positions were flooded.
Kupyansk Direction
Russian troops are gradually encircling Kupyansk and nearby areas along the Oskol River. Assault units have entered Kupyansk-Uzlovoy. Ukrainian forces attempted counterattacks near Kurilovka and Nechvolodovka, while Russian troops advanced in the Ambarnoe area.
Seversk Direction
Russian units are maneuvering to encircle Seversk from both the south and north. New positions have been secured near the railway bridge in Zvanovka, and fighting continues on the southern outskirts of Yampol. Russian forces are also pushing west of Vyemka.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Russian troops have advanced two kilometers toward Sergeevka and now control up to 60% of Krasnoarmeysk. The towns of Gnatovka and Rog have been liberated, and clearing operations are underway in the industrial zone. In Mirnograd, Russian units have secured positions in the northern and eastern parts of the city. Intense clashes continue on the Dobropolye salient in the areas of Sukhetskoye, Zatyshka, Shakhovo, and Boykovka.
