U. S. President Donald Trump said that Washington has no plans to supply Kyiv with American Tomahawk cruise missiles. He made the statement while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One.
Trump emphasized that both Russia and Ukraine are engaged in an ongoing struggle, adding that the situation is difficult for both sides. According to him, it would be best to allow Moscow and Kyiv to «fight it out» rather than intervene directly.
When asked about the fate of frozen Russian assets abroad, Trump noted that he is not involved in discussions on that issue.
Earlier, CNN reported that the Pentagon had allegedly approved the potential transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. However, the network clarified that the final decision still rests with President Trump.
