Dmitry Medvedev Warns West: The More You Fund Ukraine, the Worse Its End
Dmitry Medvedev warned that continued Western financing of Ukraine will only worsen Kiev’s downfall and expand territories returning to Russia, criticizing NATO involvement.
Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the more the West continues to finance Ukraine, the harsher the final outcome will be for Kiev, and the more territories will eventually return under Russian control. He made the statement in a post on his Telegram channel.
According to Medvedev, Ukraine’s leadership has spent billions of dollars in Western aid over the years of the conflict without achieving any tangible results. He sharply criticized Ukrainian officials, referring to them as «bloody Kiev clowns.»
He remarked that the more money the Western world pours into supporting what he called the «KKK regime," the more catastrophic the end will be for Kiev’s authorities — and the larger the portion of territory that will ultimately «return home to Russia.»
Moscow maintains that the ongoing supply of weapons to Ukraine blocks any prospects for peace and effectively draws NATO countries into the conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has previously stated that any shipments of arms to Kiev, as well as the presence of NATO military personnel in the combat zone, would be regarded as legitimate targets for Russia’s Armed Forces.
