Russia has intensified its strikes with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles against Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities, aiming to disrupt and delay the flow of Western weapons to the Ukrainian army, military analyst Vasily Dandykin told NEWS.ru.

According to the expert, the current wave of Kinzhal launches is intended to weaken Kyiv’s combat potential — particularly its drone and aviation capabilities — by targeting logistics hubs and production sites linked to Western arms supply.

Dandykin also noted that the growing frequency of large-scale attacks indicates that Russia maintains a substantial stockpile of these advanced missiles. He emphasized that the Kinzhal’s key advantage lies in its ability to strike targets deep inside enemy territory, making it especially effective against airfields and underground facilities such as storage depots and bunkers. In western regions of Ukraine, he added, there are still fortified Soviet-era installations that remain in use.

Earlier, Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the underground resistance in Nikolaev, reported that Russian forces had carried out a combined strike across Ukraine, with around forty hits recorded in ten different regions.
