The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of November 5, the situation along the front line remains intense, with active engagements reported across several key directions.

Sumy Direction
Heavy positional fighting continues along the entire sector. Ukrainian forces are attempting to increase the number of assault groups on forward positions. Russian troops disrupted three such movements through concentrated fire near Andreevka, Kondratovka, and Varachino.

Kharkov Direction
Russian units are pressing Ukrainian defenses in Volchansk, the Sinelnikovsky Forest, and the Khatnoye area. Clashes persist in central Kupyansk and around the local market. Russian forces are also advancing toward Dvurechensky from two flanks.

Konstantinovka Direction
Russian troops have expanded their control zone in Ivanopolye and the area between Aleksandro-Shultino and Kleban-Byk. Fierce fighting continues for the commanding heights and road junctions near Aleksandro-Kalinovo. Progress is reported near Novomarkovo and Orekhovo-Vasilievka.

Seversk Direction
Russian forces are moving forward in Vasyukovka and Zvanovka, with assault units securing positions on the southern outskirts of Seversk. The road from Liman to Zakotnoye has been cut off.

Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Russian units are conducting clearing operations in Krasnoarmeysk. Heavy battles are taking place in the northern high-rise districts and near the mine in Mirnograd. The Russian army has taken control of Rog and Khutor Zaporozhsky. In the Dobropolye salient, fighting continues around Zatyshka, Sukhetskoye, and Nikanorovka.

Krasny Liman Direction
Russian troops have entrenched themselves in the eastern part of Maslyakovka and expanded their foothold near Drobyshevo and Yarovaya.
