According to Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots, Russian forces continue to advance steadily around Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk), breaking through Ukrainian defensive lines step by step.

Kots reported that the Ukrainian army is severely exhausted, while Russian troops are consolidating their positions, building fortifications, and strengthening supply routes — measures that allow them to push deeper into the city with growing confidence.

He described the offensive as ongoing in the northern direction, accompanied by systematic clearing operations in the settlements of Gnatovka and Rog. Over the past 24 hours, Russian units reportedly repelled 12 Ukrainian counterattacks north and northwest of Krasnoarmeysk.

Kots also noted that Ukrainian forces now control only a few streets in the northern part of the city. Meanwhile, in neighboring Mirnograd, Russian soldiers have taken another 19 buildings. According to his assessment, the Ukrainian command considers the situation on this front to be critical.
