Russia’s air defense systems destroyed 11 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, the Ministry of Defense reported. According to the statement, five drones were intercepted over Crimea, three over Bryansk Region, two over Kursk, and one over Kaluga.

Earlier, on November 6 between noon and 5 p.m. Moscow time, air defense units also downed 14 additional unmanned aircraft. Seven of them were shot down over Bryansk Region, five over Kursk, one over Rostov Region, and another over the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Ukrainian forces continue daily attempts to strike Russia’s border and central regions with fixed-wing kamikaze drones. Russian air defense units consistently detect and destroy most of these incoming UAVs. In response, the Russian Armed Forces conduct precision strikes targeting drone assembly workshops, defense industry facilities, as well as Ukrainian troop positions and weapon depots.
