A sharp decline in Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian regions could indicate preparations for a larger-scale military operation, according to war correspondent Yury Kotenok.

He suggested that the decrease in strike intensity might be a tactical maneuver preceding a massive assault. Kotenok explained that such lulls in UAV activity often precede attempts by Kyiv to stage large-scale drone raids, potentially aimed at breaching air defenses around Moscow.

At the same time, the journalist emphasized that Russia’s air defense systems remain fully prepared to repel any large-scale attack.

Earlier, during the night of November 7, Russian air defense units intercepted 11 drones over four regions of the country. The previous night, on November 6, Ukrainian forces had launched 75 drones against Russian territory — more than six times as many.
