Units of the Russian Armed Forces have taken control of the majority of Volchansk in the Kharkov region, according to reports shared by the Telegram channel Idi i Smotri («Come and See»).

The outlet, citing its sources, stated that Russian assault units captured several dozen additional buildings in the city. The report also notes that Russian troops have advanced significantly along the left bank of the Volchya River, and a Russian flag has been raised on the southern outskirts of Volchansk.

Notably, Ukrainian analytical sources have also acknowledged the Russian advance. The monitoring project Deep State confirmed that Russian forces have pushed deeper into the city. In addition, their data indicates that Russian units have established positions near Vladimirovka, located south of the Dobropolye salient.
