The Russian Armed Forces are continuing their military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of November 8, the situation along the front line remained highly active, with fighting reported across several key directions.

Pokrovsk Direction

Russian assault units advancing on Pokrovsk secured positions in the Dinas area and continued clearing operations around the local dairy and meat-processing plants. In the town of Rovno, Russian troops opened a secondary front in Mirnograd. Intense fighting is ongoing on the western outskirts of Rodinskoye and in the areas of Sukhetsky and Fedorovka. Battles are also taking place on the eastern flank of the Dobropolye salient, near Shakhovo and Vladimirovka.

South Donetsk Direction

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the liberation of Uspenovka. Russian units advanced about one kilometer toward Otradnoye and are now engaged in combat for control over Sladkoye, Novy, and Novouspensky. Heavy clashes continue along the Sosnovka-Alekseyevka-Novoaleksandrovka line, where Russian forces broke through Ukrainian defenses and are pushing toward Tikhy. Fighting also persists near the approaches to Orestopol, while Ukrainian troops attempt counterattacks in the Rybnoe area.

Kupyansk Direction

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces completed the clearance of territory around the feed mill. Ukrainian units made several unsuccessful attempts to relieve their encircled garrison. Active battles are taking place in Petropavlovka, Kurilovka, and Kupyansk-Uzlovoy. On the northern bridgehead near Khatnoye, Russian troops secured new forested positions.

Zaporozhye Direction

Intense fighting continues in Primorsky and Stepnogorsk. Ukrainian forces are heavily mining roads and striking Russian supply routes, while the Russian army responds with air strikes, artillery fire, and drone attacks. The situation remains tense around Orekhov and Malaya Tokmachka.

Seversk Direction

Combat operations persist in Zvanovka, south of Dronovka, and in the southern parts of Yampol.
