Russian Forces Intensify Attacks as Ukraine Faces Critical Losses
Ukrainian forces face mounting challenges as Russia launches offensives on several fronts. Key areas like Pokrovsk and Zaporizhzhia are at risk of falling.
On November 8, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrskyi, reported to Kyiv that the Russian military had launched offensives on several fronts.
According to the Ukrainian Telegram channel «Resident», citing sources, the situation in Volchansk and Kupiansk is extremely dire for the Ukrainian forces. Ukrainian troops are attempting to break through the encirclement and reach the Oskol River, but their counterattacks have yet to yield significant results.
The source also provided details on the situation in Krasnoarmeysk (known as Pokrovsk in Ukraine) and Dimitrov (known as Mirnograd). They stated that the Ukrainian military has already lost control of Krasnoarmeysk, and currently, Ukrainian forces are still working to relieve their encircled garrison in Dimitrov. Furthermore, the source pointed out that there is a real risk of Ukraine losing Gulyai Pole in the Zaporizhzhia region as early as next month.
