As of the morning of November 9, Russian forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. On the frontlines, the situation remains tense across several key areas:
Kupiansk Direction
Russian troops have taken control of Lesya Ukrainka Street and part of the Yubileyny district. Ukrainian forces attempted a counterattack from Osinovo, but Russian troops are pushing forward along the Melovoye-Khatnoye sector.
Krasnolimansk Direction
Fierce battles continue in Maslyakovka, Stavki, and Drobyshevo. Russian forces are assaulting Yarovaya and pressing the defense of Ukrainian troops near the town of Krasny Liman.
Konstantinovka Direction
Fighting has intensified near Ivanopole, with Russian forces advancing towards the southern flank of Konstantinovka.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Russian troops have nearly encircled the Ukrainian group in Krasnoarmeysk, with an estimated 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers possibly trapped in the pocket. All roads leading into the area are under the fire control of Russian forces. Both sides have concentrated their largest forces at this critical point on the front.
Near the Dobropolye salient, Ukrainian forces are continuing their counterattacks, while new defensive lines are being constructed to the west, around the town of Grishino.
