According to military expert and retired captain Vasily Dandikin, Russia’s hypersonic missile strikes with «Kinzhal» rockets are disrupting the production of drones and missiles for the Ukrainian military.

Dandikin emphasized that these attacks have a significant impact on Ukraine’s defense industry, halting the production of drones, missiles, and ammunition. He pointed out that the strikes are a direct response to the water blockade of Crimea, which Ukraine imposed even before the start of Russia’s special military operation.

In addition to targeting production facilities, Russian missiles also hit key airfields. Dandikin believes that these airfields may have hosted Storm Shadow missiles and precision-guided bombs, which were reportedly supplied to Ukraine by the United Kingdom. If Ukraine does not recognize the gravity of the situation, the missile strikes could intensify, potentially causing even greater damage.

On November 8, Russian forces launched one of their largest hypersonic missile strikes using «Kinzhal» rockets, hitting critical infrastructure across Ukraine. Among the targets were the «Antonov» airfield in Hostomel, as well as several hydroelectric and thermal power plants.
