The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Eastern Group of Forces successfully crossed the Yanchur River and liberated the settlement of Rybnoye in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russian forces managed to seize control of a defense area covering more than two square kilometers.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that assault units faced intense resistance from the enemy, which used all available means to hold its positions. Despite this, Russian troops pressed on and secured their objective.

Additionally, the Ministry clarified that the Eastern Group of Forces defeated the units of two mechanized brigades, an assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and two territorial defense brigades. These clashes occurred in the areas of the settlements of Yablokovo, Gulyai Pole, Novoye in Zaporizhzhia, and Velikomikhaylovka and Nechaevka in Dnipropetrovsk region.

As a result of the fighting, the Ukrainian forces suffered significant losses, including up to 255 personnel, three armored vehicles, 12 trucks, four field artillery pieces, and a counter-battery radar station.
