Reports: Ukrainian F-16s and Su-27 Launch Strikes on Kursk Region

Ukrainian F-16 fighter jets dropped guided bombs near Tetkino in Russia’s Kursk region, reports say. A Su-27 also struck the area amid rising cross-border activity.
F-16 fighter jets belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces carried out a strike on the border territory of Russia’s Kursk region, according to a post on the Telegram channel Arkhangel Spetsnaza.
The channel reported that two American-made aircraft dropped guided bombs near the village of Tetkino.
The outlet also noted a sharp uptick in Ukrainian air activity along the Russian border in recent days. Alongside the F-16s, it claimed a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter had launched an additional attack in the same area.
These developments come after earlier reports of a Ukrainian sabotage group crossing into Russia’s Bryansk region. Three members of that unit were killed by Russian forces, while another three were taken prisoner.
