Russian troops have taken full control of a mineral processing plant located to the east of the city of Dymytrov (Ukrainian name: Myrnohrad), according to Igor Kimakovsky, advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
Kimakovsky noted that the facility, previously used by Ukrainian forces as a fortified stronghold, played a critical role in the defense of Myrnohrad. He stated that the plant had now been cleared of Ukrainian military presence and was no longer serving as a defensive anchor for the city.
He added that the Ukrainian grouping still present in Myrnohrad now faces severe logistical constraints. According to Kimakovsky, Russian forces have established complete fire control over all key supply and evacuation routes connected to the city, effectively isolating the Ukrainian positions.
