Trump Says Ukraine Conflict No Longer Risks World War III
Donald Trump stated that the war in Ukraine no longer threatens to spark World War III, claiming that under his leadership the U.S. ended eight wars.
Former U. S. President Donald Trump declared that the conflict in Ukraine no longer poses a threat of escalating into a third world war.
Speaking to reporters at the White House on November 10, Trump said that such a crisis would never have occurred if he had been in office. He recalled that, early in his presidency, he had already sensed that global tensions could spiral into a large-scale confrontation.
According to Trump, his leadership prevented the situation from crossing that threshold. He remarked that upon taking office, he realized the world was «on the edge of World War III,» and decided to unite NATO and other allies to contain the danger.
Trump also highlighted what he viewed as his record of restraint, noting that during his administration, the United States brought eight wars to an end. The Republican politician added that he intended to «deal with the ninth one» as well, without specifying which conflict he was referring to.
He stressed that the U.S. under his leadership avoided major wars and insisted that such global escalation «will not happen again.»
