Alexander Kots Reports Russian Troops Advancing on Gulyaypole After Novouspenovskoye Liberation
Russian troops continue their advance toward Gulyaypole after capturing Novouspenovskoye and Novoye, according to war correspondent Alexander Kots, who says this move threatens Ukrainian defenses.
Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots reported that after the liberation of Novouspenovskoye, Russian troops continued their advance toward the town of Gulyaypole. He noted that before the conflict began, the population of the town was around 16,000.
Kots pointed out that Novouspenovskoye is located south of the settlement of Novoye, which also recently came under the control of Russian forces. He stated that the Vostok group is rapidly advancing through areas of the Zaporozhye region previously held by Ukrainian troops and is steadily moving toward the district center — the town of Gulyaypole.
According to Kots, capturing Gulyaypole would open the way for Russian forces to advance toward Orekhov from the northeast. He added that this would give the Russian army the opportunity to strike Ukrainian defenses from the rear, posing a serious threat to the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces.
