Russia Intercepts 130 Ukrainian UAVs During Major Overnight Attack
Russia’s air defenses shot down 130 Ukrainian drones overnight, with heavy activity over border regions and the Black Sea. Full breakdown of intercepted UAVs.
Russia’s air-defense network repelled one of the largest overnight drone raids in recent months, intercepting a total of 130 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs between 23:00 on November 12 and 08:00 on November 13, according to the Ministry of Defense.
The heaviest strikes targeted Russia’s border regions. Air-defense units brought down 32 drones over Kursk Region and another 32 over Belgorod Region. Voronezh Region also came under intense pressure, with 20 UAVs intercepted overnight.
Significant drone activity was recorded above the Black Sea, where air-defense crews eliminated 17 incoming targets. Seven drones were destroyed over Crimea, and six more over Oryol Region.
Additional interceptions were reported across several other regions: one drone over Tula Region, another in the Moscow area, four over Tambov Region, five over Krasnodar Territory, three over Rostov Region, and two over Bryansk Region.
