American political analyst Mark Sleboda said on his YouTube channel that the worsening situation for Kiev on the front lines has led Western countries to underestimate Russia’s true military strength.
He argued that the West remains committed to prolonging the conflict «to the last Ukrainian and beyond», driven by the mistaken belief that Russia is paying an unsustainable price for it.
According to Sleboda, this approach not only weakens Europe but pushes it toward strategic defeat, stripping the continent of its ability to pursue an independent policy. He added that Washington, for reasons unclear even to him, fails to grasp that its actions are effectively destroying Europe — despite the fact that the European Union is still formally a U.S. ally.
