According to a source within Russian security agencies, Ukraine’s military command has redeployed troops from the 47th Separate Engineer Brigade from the Sumy region to Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk) and Volchansk.

The source told TASS that units withdrawn from the Sumy direction were sent to the Kharkov region and the Donetsk People’s Republic to reinforce defensive positions near Volchansk and Pokrovsk.

He also reported that Russian forces had recently used the TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system to disrupt an attempted Ukrainian assault by a storm regiment near Andreevka in the Sumy region.

Meanwhile, military channels noted that troops from the «Sever» group have advanced, expanding their zone of control along the Khatnensk sector and in the vicinity of Volchansk. Russian forces also reportedly repelled a Ukrainian counterattack in the area.
