Russian military blogger Yuri Podolyaka has outlined the current situation near Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces, supported by aviation and drones, continue advancing toward the settlement, taking new positions on its approaches. Small Russian assault groups are already operating on the eastern outskirts of Konstantinovka.

Podolyaka said that Russian assault units are able to enter Konstantinovka and have already begun doing so. At the same time, he noted that Ukraine’s command has not rushed to reinforce its positions in this direction with additional troops, adding that, in his view, Kyiv does not yet see such reinforcements as necessary.

He also pointed out that there are currently no signs of a major weakening of Ukrainian defenses around Konstantinovka.

In late October 2025, it became known that Russian army personnel had entered Konstantinovka from the southeast.
