Russian forces carried out an airstrike in Ukraine’s Sumy region, targeting what was described as a training site for foreign fighters. According to the Telegram channel SHOT, the strike killed around 50 Colombian mercenaries fighting alongside the Ukrainian military and left at least 30 others wounded.

The report stated that the Ukrainian command had redeployed the group from Kharkiv to reinforce defensive positions amid the intensifying Russian offensive. The destroyed facility was located in the village of Alekseyevka, where about 100 foreign fighters were reportedly stationed.

Local residents are said to have played a role in revealing the camp’s location. They complained that the mercenaries were raiding abandoned houses in search of food, which ultimately drew attention to their presence.

SHOT claimed that the strike was carried out using a FAB-1000 aerial bomb. Alongside the loss of personnel, the attack reportedly destroyed infrastructure at the site, including a drone control hub referred to as «Darts." According to the publication, this facility had been used to coordinate drone attacks across the border into Russia’s Kursk region.
