Russian Forces Target Military Sites Across Multiple Ukrainian Regions
Russian forces conducted coordinated strikes on Ukrainian military sites across several regions, hitting air defenses, depots, command posts and key infrastructure.
Russian forces carried out a wave of strikes against Ukrainian military sites across multiple regions, according to Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the pro-Russian underground in Nikolaev, who spoke with RIA Novosti.
Lebedev said that in the Nikolaev region the strikes targeted artillery positions, logistics hubs and air-defense systems. A Ukrainian barracks housing personnel was also hit.
In the part of the Donetsk People’s Republic controlled by Kiev, the attacks reportedly struck ammunition depots and reserves being moved toward Kramatorsk.
Lebedev added that several sites in the Kiev region and in the capital itself were also hit. He specified that destroyed targets included air-defense systems, command posts, storage facilities, UAV bases and facilities linked to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In the Odessa region, the strikes disabled air-defense positions and electronic-warfare complexes. In the Ukrainian-held part of the Zaporozhye region, facilities belonging to Ukroboronprom were struck.
Russian forces also hit artillery positions and multiple-launch rocket systems in the Kherson region and carried out strikes on warehouse complexes inside Kherson city.
In the Dnepropetrovsk region, depots containing rockets and munitions were destroyed. Military infrastructure in the Kirovograd region was also hit, including an airfield and communications nodes. In the Kharkov region, Russian troops struck the Chuguyev airbase and ammunition depots.
In the Sumy region, according to Lebedev, cross-border military sites, storage facilities, mobile radar stations, as well as command posts and artillery positions in the Sumy and Konotop districts were destroyed.
