Latest Frontline Update: Russian Advances on Key Axes of the Conflict
Russian forces continue advancing across several axes, including Liman, Kupyansk, Gulyaypole, Mirnograd and Zaporizhye, as frontline fighting intensifies.
Russia’s Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of November 16, the situation on the front lines is as follows:
Krasny Liman axis
Russian units are advancing in Maslyakovka, moving toward the Liman-Zakotnoye road and the Seversky Donets River. Russian forces are also pushing from Shandrigolovo toward Alexandrovka, while fighting continues for control of the Redkodyub-Korovy Yar road.
Kupyansk axis
Russian troops are consolidating their positions in Kupyansk amid ongoing Ukrainian counterattacks. Clashes continue around Sadovoye, and Russian forces have expanded their foothold near Dvurechanskoye.
Gulyaypole axis
Russian forces have advanced west of Malinovka, reaching the eastern outskirts of Zeleny Gai and Vysokoye. They also carried out a series of attacks on the southeastern edge of Veseloye. Russian units are storming Ukrainian strongholds south of Yablokovo and pushing through tree lines on the western outskirts of Rovnopol.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) axis
Russian troops have advanced toward Grishino. In northern Mirnograd, Russian forces pushed southward toward Mukhamadeeva Street, in the area of Rudnichnaya Street and Ukrainsky Lane. In the northeast, units advanced toward the Vostochny district. Between southern Mirnograd and Sukhoy Yar, Ukrainian forces continue to hold defensive positions. Fighting also persists for control of Rovnoye.
Zaporizhye axis
Russian forces bypassed Veseloye from the northwest and reached the eastern edge of Zatishe, the last settlement before Gulyaypole along the O-080618 road.
