Bryansk Region came under another large-scale combined attack by Ukrainian forces, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said in a statement posted on his Telegram channel.
According to the governor, between 8:00 p.m. on August 21 and 7:00 a.m. on August 22, Russian air defense units intercepted and destroyed 21 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over the region.
He noted that the strike targeted a fuel infrastructure facility in Unecha District, carried out with HIMARS rockets and attack drones. As a result of the assault, a fire broke out at the site. Bogomaz explained that the blaze was fully extinguished thanks to the coordinated work of the Bryansk fire and rescue service together with personnel from the regional branch of Russia’s Emergencies Ministry.
