Russia’s Defense Ministry says that during the liberation of the village of Rovnopolye in the Zaporozhye Region, Russian units pushed roughly five kilometers into the opposing defensive line. The agency explained that this advance followed immediately after the taking of Novouspenovskoye and Novoye, leaving the enemy no time to regroup or fortify new positions.
The ministry added that Rovnopolye became the fourth settlement secured by the 114th Motorized Rifle Regiment within a week. It also reported that the village of Malaya Tokmachka came under Russian control. According to the statement, coordinated work by assault groups, effective use of reconnaissance, and the personal courage of the troops enabled the forward movement and a firm hold on Rovnopolye.
