Russian Defense Ministry: Over 9,000 Ukrainian troops lost in a week across multiple fronts


The Russian Defense Ministry reported 9,375 Ukrainian troop losses in a week, with heavy damage to tanks, artillery, vehicles, depots and electronic warfare systems.
According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian forces lost 9,375 personnel over the past week of fighting in the conflict zone.
In the area of responsibility of the Sever grouping, 1,120 Ukrainian soldiers and officers were eliminated within seven days. Ukrainian losses there also included three tanks, 23 armored vehicles, 74 trucks, 26 artillery pieces, three electronic warfare and counter-battery stations, as well as 41 depots storing ammunition, fuel and other materiel.
The Yug grouping reported killing 1,610 Ukrainian servicemen over the week. On this front, 19 vehicles, 18 field artillery guns, seven electronic warfare and counter-battery stations, and 17 field ammunition and supply depots were destroyed.
Forces of the Tsentr grouping said they eliminated 2,840 Ukrainian troops. Their operations also destroyed two tanks, 30 armored vehicles, 64 vehicles, and 19 field artillery pieces.
In the sector controlled by the Dnepr grouping, 555 Ukrainian soldiers were reported killed. Russian units there also destroyed five armored vehicles, 15 artillery guns, 46 electronic warfare and counter-battery stations, and 30 ammunition depots.
The Vostok grouping stated that 1,600 Ukrainian servicemen were killed in its sector. Alongside those losses, five tanks, 25 armored vehicles, 79 vehicles, 15 artillery pieces, six electronic warfare stations, and three supply depots were destroyed.
Meanwhile, the Zapad grouping reported eliminating 1,650 Ukrainian troops. Ukrainian forces in this sector also lost five tanks-including three German Leopard tanks-along with 28 armored vehicles, 11 artillery guns, a Grad multiple rocket launcher, 39 electronic warfare and counter-battery stations, and 35 ammunition depots.
