Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that its air-defense systems destroyed 31 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, with interception sites spanning several regions of the country.

According to the ministry, the heaviest activity was recorded over the Voronezh and Tambov regions, where ten drones were taken down in each area. Three unmanned aircraft were intercepted over both the Rostov and Yaroslavl regions, while two more were neutralized in the Smolensk region.

Single drones were also shot down over the Bryansk, Kursk and Oryol regions, the ministry noted.

The latest overnight attack followed a similar incident on November 17, when Russian forces reported shooting down 36 Ukrainian drones. At that time, the Bryansk region accounted for the largest number of interceptions, with fourteen UAVs destroyed.
