Russia’s Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of 18 November, the frontline picture is as follows:
On the Sumy axis, assault units of the «Sever» grouping advanced up to 300 meters on three sectors inside Sumy Region.
On the Kharkov axis, Russian troops took a VSU strongpoint in the forest west of Sinelnikovo and cleared an adjacent woodland strip. Heavy fighting persists in Volchansk and the surrounding area.
On the Seversk axis, Russian forces secured Platonovka. The Seversk-Krasny Liman road is effectively under Russian fire control.
On the Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) axis, intense engagements are underway near Grishino. VSU units are trying to build a defensive line around Belitskoe and Novoaleksandrovka, while unsuccessful breakout attempts continue in small groups.
On the South Donetsk axis, Russian forces are pushing from Yablokovo toward Rybnoe in the direction of the Gaychur River. The village of Gai has been taken.
On the Zaporozhye axis, Russian troops are clearing Malaya Tokmachka of remaining VSU elements.
