Russian forces continued their offensive in the Kharkov region, securing control of the settlement of Tsegelnoye, the Defense Ministry reported. According to the ministry, units of the «Sever» group struck several Ukrainian formations at once — including mechanized, infantry, air-assault brigades and an assault regiment — in the areas of Alekseevka, Yunakovka, Mogritsa, Ivolzhanskoye and Novaya Sech in the Sumy region.

The ministry stated that Ukrainian troops lost up to 115 service members, one armored fighting vehicle, 12 vehicles, two electronic-warfare stations and seven supply depots.

Further south, in the Dnepropetrovsk region, units of the «Vostok» group broke deeper into Ukrainian defensive lines and took control of the settlement of Nechayevka. Strikes were carried out on elements of two mechanized and two assault brigades, three assault regiments, as well as two territorial defense brigades near Gulyaypole and Vozdvizhevka in the Zaporozhye region, and in the areas of Kolomiytsev and Gerasimovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

According to the ministry’s assessment, Ukrainian forces lost more than 350 troops in this sector, in addition to an armored fighting vehicle and seven vehicles destroyed.
