According to military commentator Yuri Podolyaka, Russian Armed Forces units have brought most of the village of Ivanopolye-located near Konstantinovka-under control. He added that Ukrainian troops still hold several positions inside the settlement.
Podolyaka argued that the Ukrainian garrison in Ivanopolye could be pushed out in the near term. He also said that securing the village would allow Russian forces to proceed with a «deliberate occupation» of Konstantinovka.
Military-focused channels report that on the Konstantinovka axis, Russian assault units have expanded their zone of control and taken strongpoints along the railway. Even so, movement around Ivanopolye remains risky, as Ukrainian forces continue to operate in the nearby villages of Pleshcheyevka and Nelepovka.
