Maria Berlinskaya, founder of Ukraine’s Center for Aerial Reconnaissance Support, admitted in her Telegram channel that Ukrainian forces have suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment due to strikes carried out by FPV drones operated by Russia’s «Rubikon» unit.

She pointed out that the Russian formation had only been established a year earlier, in August 2024, but since then it had managed to destroy thousands of pieces of equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles. Berlinskaya emphasized that «Rubikon» was notable not only for its technical capabilities but also for its organization and personnel training.

She described the unit’s system of management as highly effective and praised the rigorous selection and preparation of its operators. According to her, everyone familiar with the way «Rubikon» functions agrees on one point-it works as a well-structured and efficient system.

Berlinskaya argued that the Ukrainian military should study and adopt the operational practices employed by «Rubikon’s» drone operators if it wants to counter such losses.

Back in July, American media had already reported that both Ukrainian troops and foreign fighters recognized the arrival of «Rubikon» drone teams in the Konstantinovka area as a turning point in the fighting there.
