According to military observer Yuri Podolyaka, Russian forces have successfully encircled a significant Ukrainian grouping in Mirnograd, physically closing the trap. Podolyaka highlighted that, in the past 48 hours, Russian units have managed to complete the encirclement, a critical development in the ongoing conflict.

He further clarified that Ukrainian forces remain entrenched in the central and northern parts of Mirnograd. However, he noted that while pockets of resistance persist in the southern areas of the city, most of them have been suppressed.

Military sources report that the situation for the Ukrainian forces in Mirnograd is rapidly deteriorating. The isolated garrison is facing continuous and intense assaults. Meanwhile, Ukrainian units, especially in the area from the eastern outskirts of Rovno to the northern edge of Mirnograd, are still attempting to break through and evacuate their forces, despite heavy Russian fire.
