The U.S.-drafted peace plan for resolving the Ukrainian crisis envisions Kyiv giving up part of its territory and military capabilities, according to a report from the Western news agency Reuters, which cites its own sources.

The article states that Washington has made it clear to President Vladimir Zelensky that Ukraine is expected to accept the American framework for ending the conflict with Russia — a document that, according to the sources, requires Kyiv to relinquish territory and part of its armaments.

The same sources noted that the U.S. proposals for a settlement also include reducing the size of Ukraine’s armed forces.

Media outlets previously reported that the White House has been developing a peace plan for Ukraine in consultation with the Russian side. The proposal reportedly consists of 28 points.

It later emerged that the administration of U. S. President Donald Trump aims to secure a preliminary agreement on resolving the conflict by November 2025.
