Russian troops continued operations in Ukraine, with the Defense Ministry outlining the situation along the front line as of the morning of August 24.

Zaporizhzhia direction
Russian units maintained their positions near Kamenskoye and entrenched themselves in the central part of Stepnogorsk. Heavy clashes were reported near the settlement of Plavni.

Ugledar direction
The Russian army took control of the village of Voronoe. Forces also expanded their presence around Temirovka and advanced on approaches near Yalta.

Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) direction
Fierce battles continued on the outskirts of Dimitrov (also known as Mirnograd in Ukrainian) and in the Rodinskoe area. Russian units pushed forward near Chunishino and Promin.

Konstantinovka direction
Russian troops entered the settlements of Shakhovo and Sofievka and cut a key road leading toward Konstantinovka. The village of Kleban-Byk also came under Russian control. According to the update, these movements contribute to forming an encirclement of Ukrainian forces in the area, with Pleshcheevka identified as the next tactical target.

Seversk direction
Russian forces carried out clearing operations in the Kremennaya forests and along the Seversky Donets River. The ministry noted tactical advances in the areas of Serebryanka and Novoselovka.
