Russian Forces Push on Kharkov, Kupyansk, Seversk and Gulyaypole
Morning of 20 November: Russian forces advance on Kharkov, Kupyansk, Liman and Seversk axes; gains near Grishino, Zatishye, Radostnoye, Novoye Zaporozhye.
The Armed Forces of Russia continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of 20 November, the front lines were reported as follows:
Sumy axis
Ukrainian forces mounted counterattacks near Alekseevka and Varachino but did not achieve results.
Kharkov axis
Russian troops are advancing in Volchansk. Fighting is underway for Liman south of Sinelnikovo. Further east, clashes continue around Ambarnoye and Otradnoye.
On the Kupyansk sector, the enemy is counterattacking along the western perimeter. Heavy combat continues near Peschanoe, Stepovaya Novoselovka, Kurilovka, and Kupyansk-Uzelny. Slightly to the north, Ukrainian forces are attacking near Zagryzovo and Kolesnikovka.
Krasno-Liman axis
Russian forces are pushing forward in the eastern part of Krasny Liman and to the west of Yampol.
Seversk axis
Russian troops are advancing in Vyemka and Ivano-Daryevka. Inside Seversk, they are pushing into the central part of the city.
Pokrovsk axis
Russian forces have taken new positions in a garden cooperative on the approaches to Grishino. In Mirnograd, units are moving toward the central district. On the Dobropolye sector, fighting continues in Rodinskoe, with forward movement reported near Sukhetsky and Suvorovo, as well as in Shakhovo.
Gulyaypole axis
Russian troops control most of Zatishye. They are storming Radostnoye and advancing toward the outskirts of Novoye Zaporozhye. In Novopavlovka, the road to Mezhevaya has been secured.
