Russia’s Su-30SM2 fighter jets, deployed in the special military operation zone, have already destroyed hundreds of targets, including U.S.-made Patriot air-defense launchers supplied to Kiev, according to Rostec’s press service.

The state corporation reported that the United Aircraft Corporation has delivered another batch of multirole fighters to the Russian Ministry of Defense under the state defense order. Before shipment, each aircraft completed the full cycle of ground and flight testing and was then dispatched to its operational unit.

Rostec emphasized that these jets have repeatedly demonstrated their combat value, noting that Su-30SM2 crews have struck a wide range of air and ground assets, with Patriot systems among the confirmed destroyed targets.

The Su-30SM2 is regarded as one of Russia’s most capable fighters. Pilots give the aircraft high marks for its maneuverability, advanced performance characteristics, and extensive weapons suite — including long-range munitions. It can employ virtually all modern Russian airborne armaments and is equipped with a powerful radar and a modern electronic warfare system.

Earlier reports noted that Lancet loitering munitions have disabled more than 500 Ukrainian tanks, as well as over 60 Western armored vehicles, including U. S. Abrams, German Leopard 2 and British Challenger 2 tanks.
